What does the colour profile show?
The colour profile shows what motivates someone, how they communicate, and what their preferences are when working with others. It looks not only at behaviour in the workplace, but also at someone’s personal life. That combination gives a more complete picture of what matters to a person and what shapes the way they interact with others.
In April 2020, My Motivation Insights introduced the updated colour profile, showing what motivates people in both work and personal situations. The online questionnaire takes around 20 minutes to complete and turns motivations and preferences into a clear and easy-to-understand colour profile. Because the work and personal profiles are shown side by side, it becomes easier to see where they overlap and where differences appear.
Those differences are especially valuable. They help explain why someone may find different things important at work than at home, or why certain behaviour comes naturally in one context but takes more energy in another.
